For younger age groups especially, VML Kids Fun is designed so that the games, puzzles and activities carry genuine educational and developmental outcomes — but present them through play. A child solving a puzzle about animals isn't doing biology homework. They're just having fun. The learning is built in.

For older children, Fun is simply that — a safe, entertaining space free from the addictive mechanics, gambling-adjacent loot boxes and peer-pressure dynamics that characterise many mainstream gaming platforms.

Different fun for different ages

The Fun section adapts significantly across age groups. What engages a 4-year-old is very different from what engages a 15-year-old — and the embedded learning outcomes shift accordingly.

Ages 3–5
Shape recognition, colour matching, simple counting, animal identification, basic phonics. All presented through gentle, rewarding play with no time pressure.
Ages 6–10
Maths puzzles, spelling games, geography exploration, creative drawing, simple logic challenges. Difficulty scales within the band based on performance.
Ages 10–14
Strategy games, science simulations, history-based adventures, creative writing tools, general knowledge quizzes. Increasing complexity and peer interaction.
Ages 15–17
